I will arrive at our scheduled time and take a moment to gently greet your pet—if they are feeling well enough—and any family members present. I will move slowly and calmly to help your pet feel safe and comfortable as we settle in.

While your pet relaxes or enjoys a treat, we will complete the necessary paperwork, review your aftercare wishes, and collect payment before proceeding.

When you are ready, I will administer an injection that is a combination of sedatives, pain medication, and muscle relaxants that allow your pet to fall into a deep, comfortable sleep. This ensures they are fully relaxed and not experiencing pain or anxiety.

Once your pet is completely asleep, I will gently administer the final medication to help them pass peacefully. In rare cases where a vein cannot be accessed, an alternative method will be used—always ensuring your pet is fully anesthetized and unaware.

After your pet has passed, I will step away to give your family private time together to say goodbye.

If you have chosen a home burial or communal aquamation and requested a memorial paw print, I will prepare that for you. For individual aquamation services, I will respectfully transport your pet to Cholla Afterlife, where your pet will be cared for with dignity and a memorial paw print will be created. Depending on your pet’s size, I may request assistance with moving them onto my stretcher.

Throughout the entire visit, my goal is to create a calm, peaceful experience for both you and your pet. This is your beloved pet’s final journey, and it should be filled with love, tenderness, and dignity.
